Jann's ability to infuse humor into the toughest of situations inspires audiences to approach life's trials with courage and optimism.

One of the most touching aspects of Jann's story is her experience as a caregiver to her mother, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's shortly after the passing of Jann's father. In her own heartfelt words, Jann recounts the emotional rollercoaster of navigating her role as both daughter and caregiver. She shares the heartbreak and struggles, but also the profound love and moments of wonder that emerged amidst the difficulties.

Truly Integrated Seniors' Care in Ontario

Where Are We At and What is Needed in the Short and Long Term

Thursday, April 18, 2024
9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.

Ontario’s health system has long aspired to provide integrated care for seniors. At its core, this approach recognizes that seniors require many types of support and care, at varying times, from different providers and in a variety of settings along the health care continuum. It is viewed as a cost-effective method of delivering accessible, coordinated, high-quality care and services. But where are we at in terms of truly integrated seniors’ care? How do both providers and those accessing the system feel about the progress we have made and where we need to go? Join us for a spirited discussion moderated by CEO Lisa Levin who will explore these and other questions with a panel of guests offering a diversity of viewpoints.
